27/07/2013:  Kildysart U13's lost out to a stronger Noamh Eoin/O'Currys team today in a sunny Kilimer. Kildysart got off to a great start when Stephen Sheehan responded to Noamh Eoin/O'Currys point with a shot to the back of the net. Seamus Casey followed on quickly with a well taken 45' and a point from play. The sides swapped points once more to leave Kildysart ahead 1-3 to 3 at the end of 1st quarter. Noamh Eoin/O'Currys built momentum with 3 unanswered points to level it and then were awarded a penalty with 5 minutes remaining. Forward Emmet McMahon stepped into goals and made a brilliant save much to the relief of all Kildysart supporters. Noamh Eoin/O'Currys scored a final point of the half to lead at the break by the narrowest of margins.

The West Clare peninsula side started strong and extended their lead to 3 when they got their second goal about 6 minutes in. Despite the great efforts of Kildysart and a brave save from goalie David Murphy, they were never able to close the gap and the full time was Kildysart 1-9, Noamh Eoin/O'Currys 2-12. Well done to the team and the coaches Kevin Kelly, Patrick Casey and Michael O'Connor for an excellent West Clare campaign.
