08/06/2015:  Kildysart National School Boys' team with the assistance of the 6th class girls overcame Kilkee in the Clare Primary Schools' Division 3 Football Finals by scoreline of 4-2 to 1-4.  The first half was a very tense affair with a lot of chances that neither team could capitalise on.  Kilkee added the only point of the half just before the break to lead 0-1 to no score at half time.  Adam Hayes's goal got Kildysart on the score board within 3 minutes of the restart and was to set the pace for the remainder of the game.  Kilkee countered with 2 quick points though to have the sides level. Points from David Murphy and Sinead McCann put Kildysart in front and then Matthew Reidy powered one to the net to keep the Blues in front 2-2 to 3 points heading into the final quarter.  Kilkee kept coming but were limited to just another point due to good work from the Kildysart's backs.  Adam Hayes again found the net to stretch the lead once more.  Joe Kelly then finished off the scoring for Kildysart when his shot fired past the goal keeper with 3 minutes remaining. Kilkee added a goal but were unable to close the gap as time ran out.  Final score Kildysart 4-2, Kilkee 1-4.
