08/04/2013: Coolmeen/Kildysart U16 team took on Shannon Gaels/Kilmihil @Kilmihil gaa grounds in very cold & very windy conditions. Shannon Gaels/Kilmihil played with the aid of the strong swirling breeze in the opening half and had 2 points on the board before Alan Normoyle open Coolmeen/Kildysarts account with a well taken goal. A Point from Barry Crehan followed by another goal from Alan Normoyle. Shannon Gaels/Kilmihil added another point to leave the score at half-time Coolmeen/Kildysart 2-1 to ShG/Kil 0-4.  Playing with the breeze in the second half Coolmeen/Kildysart added a further 4 points. Shannon Gaels/Kilmihil added 1 more point they tried hard for a goal but Coolmeen/Kildysart defence held out.
