21/03/2015:  Kildysart/Coolmeen were very unlucky on Saturday when they lost by a single point to Kilrush/Kilimer 1-11 to 1-10.  Kildysart/Coolmeen establised an early lead thanks to 3 points from Seamus Casey and 1 from Diarmuid O'Donnell to lead 4-1 by the 12 minute.  Kilrush/Kilimer evened the score with an opportunist goal when a free was blocked down and the rebound was kicked into the net.  The sides were level again 5 points to 1-2 before Kilrush/Kilimer pulled in front by 2 leading 1-4 to 5 points. However a point from Stephen Sheehan and a goal from Ryan Casey put Kildysart/Coolmeen ahead at the break 1-7 to 1-5.
The second half was a tight affair with the sides evenly matched and the score level twice more before the start of the last quarter.  Kildysart/Coolmeen pulled into the lead 1-10 to 1-9 but Kilrush/Kilimer again drew level and then went ahead 1-11 to 1-10.  For the last 10 minutes both sides struggled to get further scores.  Kildysart/Coolmeen were awarded a free in the dying minutes but were unable to get the leveler. Kildysart/Coolmeen put in a very spirited and much improved performance.
