Kil/Cool Minors 10 Point Victory

14/08/2012:  The Kil/Cool Minors goal blitz of 4 goals in 13 minutes during the second half propelled them to victory over the Kilimer/Gaels 05 06 to 01 08.  Kil/Cool maintained a modest lead during the first half and were ahead 01 04 to 3 points at the break, but things changed quickly when the Kilimer/Gaels goaled at the 36th minute to bring them to within a point.  Kil/Cool saw themselves down by a point before Paudie Corry fisted the ball into the net to start the blitz.  The ball moved to the other end of the field and Anthony King made an excellent goal line save.  Then Ian Slobody passed into Aidan Corry for a goal, Brian Moloney passed into Ian Slobody for a goal and then another goal by Aidan Corry ensured victory for the home side.

By my calculation - this puts the team in joint second with the Kilimer/Gaels on 5 points with a 10 points difference - though the Clare GAA website doesn't reflect this.
