10/05/2014: The Junior B's extracted their revenge from the 2013 Div 7 League final over Clarecastle this evening with a big win in front of the home crowd.  The backs, led by a fine performance from Rory McMahon, kept Clarecastle to only 1 score in the first half. The Clarecastle goal came minutes after Davy McCarthy made a goal save which was collected by the Magpies and fired back again, this time to be denied by the post. Third time lucky. It was the only real threat Kildysart faced in the match. The match was played in very bad conditions but the Blues dominated for the entire match.  They led at the break 2-8 to 1-0, with both goals coming from Eoin Cleary.

The second half saw Kildysart continue their control over the match.  Noel Murphy got the score of the match when he lobbed the ball over the keepers head and into the net with a shot from the far side of the pitch at nearly the 45' metre line. Ger Kelly made his first appearance of the 2014 season and didn't fail to impress scoring 6 points. Next up for Junior B are Kilrush at home on June bank holiday weekend.

Team: David McCarthy, Shane Murphy, Paul O'Brien, Kieran Doohan, Kieran Leahy, John Murtagh, Rory McMahon, Christy Clancy, Niall Ginnane, Diarmuid Ginnane (0-1), Kevin Kelly (0-2), Flan Ginnane (0-2), Ger Kelly (0-6), Terry Murphy (0-1), Eoin Cleary (2-4).
