10/10/2019: There was no winner in this week's lotto but the lucky dip winners were: €50 Mick Casey, Kings Rd €30 Gerry Corry, Coolmeen €30 Noel Meaney, Cranny €30 Liza Nagle, Lissycasey €30 Oliver Garry, Kildysart €30 John Doherty, Clondrina Tickets can be bought online at https://www.locallotto.ie//localhome.asp?LL_ID=568 Congrats to the Intermediate team and management on their mighty semi-final win over neighbours Shannon Gaels 1-15, 0-9. Local derbies come with their own pressures so it was great to see Kildysart come out on top. The Final is set for Cusack Park on Saturday 19th October with the time to be confirmed on Monday coming. There is a match analysis and photos in the Clare Champion. The village is abuzz with competitions in the build-up to the final so check out Facebook for details. The U14's Ladies finished their season without silverware when they lost the Sheild Final to Burren Gaels on Sunday last. Congrats to them on a great season as they are a young team with most returning to that team next year. The Minor Ladies lost their round match away to Clooney on Sunday eve and have their last match away to Eire Og on Sunday morning. A win for Kildysart should put them in the Cup semi-final. The U10 ladies had attended a blitz on Saturday morning last and put in a trojan performance in some really bad weather. The first 300 DRAW takes place in the Community centre on Sunday after mass. Good luck to all ticket holders. Get cracking on your houses, businesses and schools in the Kildysart colours !! |
