Hard luck to the Intermediates who saw Doora Barefield come from behind to overtake them 3-13 to 1-16 on Saturday last in round 6 of the Garry Cup. It all comes down to round 7 in two and a half weeks’ time as 6 teams must battle for the top 3 spots. Corofin top the table (10 points), with Kildysart, Barefield and Doonbeg joint second (8 points), followed by O'Curry's and Kilmihil in joint third (6 points). Nothing but a win will do for Kildysart when they host the men from the peninsula on Saturday 8th June. All attention must now turn to the O'Gorman Cup when Kildysart travel to north Clare to take on Miltown Malbay. Throw in is on Saturday at 7pm.

The new-look, 12-team Intermediate championship kicks off at the end of July with Kildysart in group 2 with Doora Barefield and Naomh Eoin. Top 2 teams from each group advance to the Quarter-finals.

Best of luck to the Ladies U12's who play their last match of the league round robin this evening (Wednesday) at home at 7:30pm v neighbours Fergus Rovers. Both teams are on equal points so tonight's winner qualifies for the final v East Clare Gaels. So let's fill the hill !!

The Ladies Junior B championship kicks off on the 30th June with a home game v Cuil Gaels 2. There are five teams in the championship and the first 4 teams qualify for the semi-finals, with the winners playing for the Cup and the losers battling for the Shield.

Commiserations to the Junior B Men's team who suffered a home loss to Doonbeg on Sunday, 3-10 to 2-15. It was a spirited effort and a great improvement from their loss to Cratloe in the previous week.

We wish the Boy's U12 team the best of luck as they take on Doonbeg at home on Saturday at noon.

The Ladies U14 kick off their championship with a home match v East Clare Gaels on Thursday week (28th May).
