Weekly Update
28/02/2020: This was no winner in this week's lotto but the lucky dip winners were: €50 Caroline Mc Mahon, Cranny Tickets can be bought online at https://www.locallotto.ie//localhome.asp?LL_ID=568 Hard luck to Stevie Sheehan, Seamus Casey, Diarmuid O'Donnell and Emmet McMahon and the Clare U20 panel in their Munster Semi-final v the holders Cork. The race night is on Saturday 7th March in the Alders at 9pm. This follows the Cusack Cup match away to Doonbeg which will be on earlier in the day. Horses are on sale until Sunday evening. Last two chances to attend the mandatory membership for the underage and a parent/guardian on Monday or Wednesday at 7:30 in the Community Centre. |

Ginnane, Kildysart Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.locallotto.ie//localhome.asp?LL_ID=568 The club is holding a race night on the 7th March in aid of the Strength & Conditioning programme being undertaken by our male and female adult players. Horses are available for €20 from the players and the executive. Your continued support is very much appreciated. Membership nights for all under-age and their parents will take place towards the end of this month - this is mandatory for all players under the age of 18. Further details to follow. The club is holding an Easter camp on the Tuesday-Thursday after Easter. See Facebook for details. Best of luck to the Emmet, Seamus, Stevie & Diarmuid and the Clare U20's as they kick off the U20 Championship with a home match v Waterford. 01/11/2019: There was no winner in this week's lotto but the lucky dip winners were: €50 Michelle Daly, Lissycasey €30 Paul O Brien, Roshill €30 Barry Lynch, Moyfadda €30 Ian Flanagan, Roshill €30 Shane Daly, Kilmihil €30 The Fab Four, c/0 Niamh O'Grady Tickets can be bought online at https://www.locallotto.ie//localhome.asp?LL_ID=568 The U21's had a mighty win in the U21B John Joe Hehir Cup Quarter-final over Clondegad on Saturday last. They survived a 3-goal onslaught to got ahead with only two minutes remaining. There's a match report in this week's Clare Champion and also on our website at http://www.kildysart.clare.gaa.ie/match-reports The team face a strong Banner team who had an emphatic Qtr-final win over Doonbeg, for a spot in the semi-final. Throw-in is Saturday in Kilmihil at 2pm. The Minor Ladies lost their semi-final on Saturday evening last to Kilmihil. The team had a good season and will be playing Minor B next year. Due to the blessing of the graves, the 300 DRAW is postponed until Sunday 10th November. |

€30 Alan Corry, Coolmeen €30 Grainne Kelly, Kings Rd Heartfelt commiserations to the Intermediate team who lost the final by a single point, St. Breckans 2-4, Kildysart 0-9. Many thanks to Clare GAA TV for live streaming the match. It is still available to watch at http://clare.gaa.ie/clare-gaa-tv/ The team can look forward to Division 1 in the League in 2020 when they play in the Cusack Cup. Congrats to the Minor Ladies who beat Eire Og at home on Sunday evening in a semi-final playoff match. The team face Kilmihil in the Cup semi-final on Saturday evening. We wish the best of luck to the U21 team who have two championship knock-out matches this weekend. The Kildysart team take on neighbours Clondegad on Saturday at 2pm in Kilmihil and the amalgamation of Kildysart/Coolmeen take on Eire Og in Miltown on the Bank Holiday Monday at 2pm. The Kiddies Halloween party kicks on this Friday between 5-7 in the Hall and a fun time is promised for all ages. The club will be holding its AGM on Friday 22nd November at 8pm in the clubhouse. 16/10/2019: There was no winner in this week's lotto but the lucky dip winners were: €50 Michael Culligan, Lissycasey We wish Kildysart the very best of luck in the final this Saturday in the Intermediate Championship Final. Is there any place you rather be than Cusack Park this Saturday at 3:30 for the game v St. Breckan's.....For those of you who are abroad or otherwise can't make it the match will be live-streamed at http://clare.gaa.ie/clare-gaa-tv/ Best of luck to the Minor Ladies who are in a playoff for the last semi-final spot in the "C" Cup championship. The match is pencilled in for Sunday evening and the details will be posted when they are known. Well done to all the U8 & U10 boys and girls who are playing a parish mixed league on Monday's & Tuesday's at the Astro. Great to see such a big turnout. The 300 DRAW for October was held on Sunday last and the lucky winners were: Don't forget about the Halloween disco on Friday 25th October between 5-7 - lots of scary tricks and treats. |

Local derbies come with their own pressures so it was great to see Kildysart come out on top. The Final is set for Cusack Park on Saturday 19th October with the time to be confirmed on Monday coming. There is a match analysis and photos in the Clare Champion. The village is abuzz with competitions in the build-up to the final so check out Facebook for details. The U14's Ladies finished their season without silverware when they lost the Sheild Final to Burren Gaels on Sunday last. Congrats to them on a great season as they are a young team with most returning to that team next year. The Minor Ladies lost their round match away to Clooney on Sunday eve and have their last match away to Eire Og on Sunday morning. A win for Kildysart should put them in the Cup semi-final. The U10 ladies had attended a blitz on Saturday morning last and put in a trojan performance in some really bad weather. The first 300 DRAW takes place in the Community centre on Sunday after mass. Good luck to all ticket holders. Get cracking on your houses, businesses and schools in the Kildysart colours !! |
