Congrats to the Intermediate team and management on their mighty semi-final win over neighbours Shannon Gaels 1-15, 0-9. Local derbies come with their own pressures so it was great to see Kildysart come out on top. The Final is set for Cusack Park on Saturday 19th October with the time to be confirmed on Monday coming. There is a match analysis and photos in the Clare Champion. The village is abuzz with competitions in the build-up to the final so check out Facebook for details.

The U14's Ladies finished their season without silverware when they lost the Sheild Final to Burren Gaels on Sunday last. Congrats to them on a great season as they are a young team with most returning to that team next year.

The Minor Ladies lost their round match away to Clooney on Sunday eve and have their last match away to Eire Og on Sunday morning. A win for Kildysart should put them in the Cup semi-final.

The U10 ladies had attended a blitz on Saturday morning last and put in a trojan performance in some really bad weather.

The first 300 DRAW takes place in the Community centre on Sunday after mass. Good luck to all ticket holders.

Get cracking on your houses, businesses and schools in the Kildysart colours !!

All roads lead to Cooraclare on Saturday when Kildysart take on neighbours Shannon Gaels in the Intermediate semi-final. The teams met at this juncture last year and with Kildysart coming out on top. What a weekend for Football we just had !!  Congrats to the Ladies Junior team who captured the County Junior B honours with a 2-6 to 1-6 win over Wolfetones on Saturday evening in Clarecastle.  Having only fielded their first adult ladies team in 2018, Kildysart set a target to improve upon their Shield honours from last year. The team, managed by John Byrne, suffered their only loss of this season against the Wolfetones so they were determined to reverse that on the night. It was a close match throughout and Wolfetones threatened to equalise in the dying minutes but Kildysart hung on for the win.  Thanks to Irene and Mitchell for providing food and music after the match and thanks also to our generous sponsor David McSweeney of Castle Tiles.

On Sunday, the Men secured their rightful place in the Intermediate semi-final after a convincing win over Kilfenora 3-10 to 0-8.  The Blues dominated the play and kept Kilfenora without a score from play in the first half and limiting them to only two scores from play in the entire 60 minutes.  They now face Shannon Gaels on Saturday week (5th October) in Lissycasey (thrown-in time will be confirmed on Monday eve).

The Ladies U14 finished off the successful weekend by qualifying for a playoff spot the Cup Final.  Kildysart travel to Corofin to play the hosts on Sunday at 4pm with the winners advancing to the U14D Cup final v Clooney Quin.

The Kildysart/Coolmeen U14 boys are in a Shield Final replay V Naomh Eoin/O'Curry's/Kilkee in Kilrush at 7pm on Friday night.

The Kildysart/Coolmeen Minor Boys are in a Division 2 Quarter-Final on Sunday v Cooraclare.  Throw-in is at 1pm.

The Minor Ladies resume their championship next weekend 5/6th October with an away match to Clooney Quin.

The Club is planning a fun Halloween kiddie disco on Friday 25th October between 5-7 in the Community Centre with fancy dress, BBQ and treats.  Entrance is €5 per child or €10 per family.

The last remaining "300 Member Club" tickets are still available, please contact a member of the executive if interested.

All roads lead to Gurteen on Sunday for the Intermediate Championship Quarter Final between Kildysart and Kilfenora. Kildysart were 4 point winners when the sides met in the Garry Cup earlier on this year and they last met in Championship in the 2016 Final when it took a replay for Kilfenora to claim the title. All the signs are there for a very exciting match when it throws in on Sunday at 1pm.

We wish the Junior B Ladies the best of luck in their Final on Saturday evening at 5:30 when they take on the Wolfetones after overcoming the Cuil Gaels in the semi-final.

Best of luck to the U14's who have home advantage over Clooney Quin in their last round match of Championship. Throw in is Sunday at 4pm in Kilidysart.

Hard luck to the U16 amalgamation who lost their final last week in Cusack Park. It was great to see the boys be competitive with other Division A teams in this competition.

The 300 Draw tickets are now on sale for €100 with many months of prizes on offer.
