Commiserations to the Intermediate Team who put in a great team performance in the Garry Cup final and were leading throughout most of the match and in the end they lost by 1 kick of a ball.  Congrats to Michael Eustace, Diarmuid O'Donnell and Emmet McMahon for making the Clare People Football Team of the week.

Best of luck to the Ladies U15 as they continue in the Johnny Hayes tournament hosting Cooraclare this Thursday at 7pm.

Congrats to the Kildysart/Gaels/Coolmeen U16 Boys who reached the "A" Shield Final.

Best of luck to the Junior Ladies as they hope to extend their unbeaten run through their championship when they take on Doora Barefield at home next Monday at 7:30.

Know Your Sport is halfway through the competition with Dylan Fox and David Griffin holding the top spot at 140 points.  Next event is the Hurling All Ireland Final.

Club Day takes place on Bank Holiday Sunday (4th August) and promises to be a family fun football day.  The Cow Patch Challenge will take place on the day and tickets are on sale for €10.

Well done to the Junior Ladies who had an emphatic win this evening in Championship away to Crusheen. Emma Finucane's 5 goals propelled the Blues to victory, Kildysart 6-11, Crusheen 3-4. Their next round will be a home match v Doora Barefield.

Wishing the Men's Intermediate Team the very best of luck as they aim to win their first Garry Cup honours. A high scoring match v O'Curry's secured Kildysart a final spot and they take on Doonbeg on Saturday evening in Cooraclare at 5:30. Promotion to the Cusack cup awaits both teams in 2020.

Hard luck to the Ladies U15 in their Johnny Hayes tournament match this evening. The club wishes to thank James Quinn Meats for the new set of jerseys for U15-U18's.

The club offers our sincere condolences to the O'Grady family on the death of Father Michael, who was a long-time supporter and patron of the club. May he rest in peace.

Club Day will be held on the August Bank Holiday Sunday in the GAA field and it promises to be a fun family day of football.

Congrats to the Ladies Junior B who started their championship in style with a home win over Cuil Gaels 3-7 to 2-8. Their next game is away to Crusheen on a date TBC.

Best of luck to the U10 Ladies who are hosting Kilmihil in a blitz at home this evening at 6:30

Best of luck also to the Minor Men who take on Kilmurry Ibrickane in Quilty this evening. They lost their opening round to Ennistymon.

Well done to Seamus Casey and Diarmuid O'Donnell who represented the club on the Clare U20 team this season.

Best of luck to the Clare Footballers in the match away to Meath on Sunday in Portlaoise. They are 70 minutes away from reaching the Super 8's. The men's intermediate championship start date is dependent on Clare still be involved in this year's All Ireland.

Best of luck to the Kildysart Junior Ladies who kick off their Championship season with a home opener v Cuil Gaels. Throw-in is on Friday at 7:30

Congrats to all the underage boys and girls who took part in the Brian Casey Memorial Tournament last weekend and well done to the Intermediates reached the semi-final stage in the 7-a-side.

Congrats to the Ladies U12 who beat Liscannor on Sunday last to get a great start to their Championship.

Best of luck to the Ladies U14's who open their championship with an away match to Corofin on Thursday.

Congrats to the U12 Boys who finished off their league season with a final v Kilimer in Cusack Park on Sunday last. They beat Kilimer 5-8 to 2-2 with some great attacking football backed up by a solid defence. It was a very promising display for a young squad so well done to all involved.

Congrats to the Ladies U14 who had a home victory over East Clare Gaels on Tuesday 7-7 to 1-1. The ladies face Fergus Rovers at home on Monday eve at 7:30.

The Intermediate match scheduled for this Saturday at 7pm has been moved to Tuesday at home with throw in at 19:45.

The Junior B's have given a walkover to Kilrush for their match on Sunday.

Hard luck to the Ladies U12's who narrowly lost their last league match of the season on Wednesday week to East Clare Gaels by a scoreline of 04-04 to 03-08. The girls played excellent football and have the championship to look forward to over the coming months.

Best of luck to the Ladies U14's who start their 2019 championship with a home game v East Clare Gaels this evening Tuesday 28th May at 7pm.

Intermediates resume their Garry Cup campaign on Saturday week 9th June with a home match v O'Curry's.  A win is needed to be in the mix for semi-final stage.

Hard luck to the Intermediates who saw Doora Barefield come from behind to overtake them 3-13 to 1-16 on Saturday last in round 6 of the Garry Cup. It all comes down to round 7 in two and a half weeks’ time as 6 teams must battle for the top 3 spots. Corofin top the table (10 points), with Kildysart, Barefield and Doonbeg joint second (8 points), followed by O'Curry's and Kilmihil in joint third (6 points). Nothing but a win will do for Kildysart when they host the men from the peninsula on Saturday 8th June. All attention must now turn to the O'Gorman Cup when Kildysart travel to north Clare to take on Miltown Malbay. Throw in is on Saturday at 7pm.

The new-look, 12-team Intermediate championship kicks off at the end of July with Kildysart in group 2 with Doora Barefield and Naomh Eoin. Top 2 teams from each group advance to the Quarter-finals.

Best of luck to the Ladies U12's who play their last match of the league round robin this evening (Wednesday) at home at 7:30pm v neighbours Fergus Rovers. Both teams are on equal points so tonight's winner qualifies for the final v East Clare Gaels. So let's fill the hill !!

The Ladies Junior B championship kicks off on the 30th June with a home game v Cuil Gaels 2. There are five teams in the championship and the first 4 teams qualify for the semi-finals, with the winners playing for the Cup and the losers battling for the Shield.

Commiserations to the Junior B Men's team who suffered a home loss to Doonbeg on Sunday, 3-10 to 2-15. It was a spirited effort and a great improvement from their loss to Cratloe in the previous week.

We wish the Boy's U12 team the best of luck as they take on Doonbeg at home on Saturday at noon.

The Ladies U14 kick off their championship with a home match v East Clare Gaels on Thursday week (28th May).
